Triple M Goat Ranch can help you with goats that are healthy, low maintenance, and thrifty.  We are raising primarily Boer goats with a Texmaster herd now under construction.  All of our does are good mothers, kidding and raising their kids on their own. These traits have been passed on to the next generation as well.  We vaccinate for cdt and pneumonia, as well as, keep parasites under control as much as possible.

Triple M Goat Ranch is owned and operated by Don and Barbara Matthews near Alvarado, Texas just south of the DFW metroplex.

We first bought goats in 2004 because we wanted to supplement our retirement plan and needed an agricultural exemption on our land.  We soon realized that we had MUCH to learn about raising goats.  We had been around cattle for many years, but this was a new experience that required several adjustments.

Our first herd included 5 percentage bred Boer does.  From those, we had 10 kids - 6 bucklings and 4 doelings.  We sold all the bucks and purchased a 100% sire.  Our herd increased as we added more full-blooded and percentage does.

We want to offer top-quality replacement stock at affordable prices to the many Boer goat breeders, and to potential breeders who are looking to start like we did.  We are planning on having wethers for sale for 4H and FFA projects.  We welcome your visits or comments.
